Hello there!

My name is Ellie Kouba and I am a Sophomore at Purdue University’s Polytechnic Institute majoring in User Experience (UX) Design. I am also pursuing a double minor in Communications and Psychology, along with certificates in Collaborative Leadership and Cornerstone. Ever since high school, I knew I had a desire to connect with the user and create a positive experience for everyone. I thrive working in a team-based environment and love participation and creating new connections. Outside of academics, I am a head lifeguard at the Cordova Recreation Center where I oversee a staff of over 60+ lifeguards. Being a leader comes naturally to me and I will pursue more leadership roles within UX in the near future. This semester I hopes to gain more confidence within the major and continue to grow my UX vocabulary and methods. One day I hope to land a UX position for a company in New York City.
